The free 15-minute consultation is a brief introductory conversation. It does not include detailed case review, document review, individualized recommendations, provider research, systems navigation, advocacy planning, or development of a step-by-step action plan.

Support during approved IEP, school, transition, provider, care coordination, or virtual team meetings.

Provider & Agency Coordination

Approved coordination with therapists, schools, childcare programs, DME companies, home health agencies, evaluators, and other relevant organizations.

Hands-on assistance with service applications, intake forms, Medicaid-related paperwork, school registration, waiver-related documentation, and other family support forms.

Follow-Up & Case Tracking

Referral status checks, provider follow-up, outstanding responses, correspondence review, agency contact, and family progress updates.

Substantial Text, Email, or Messaging Support

$85 per hour

Brief scheduling messages and simple clarifications are not billed. Substantial professional support may become billable when communication involves lengthy or repeated case-specific messages, screenshots, documents, voice notes, problem-solving, or individualized guidance.

Focused Resource Search

One clearly defined need, with up to five relevant options when available, basic contact information, and a brief organized summary.

Comprehensive Resource Navigation Package

Broader customized research with comparison of relevant options, eligibility considerations when available, organized written summary, and suggested next steps.

Provider outreach, confirmation of openings, insurance checks, and ongoing coordination are separate unless specifically included in a quote.

Complex matters involving significant records, denials, chronology, policy issues, or supporting documentation may require a custom quote.

Record Organization & Advocacy Binder Setup

Organization may include evaluations, services, school records, insurance or Medicaid correspondence, providers, current services, pending referrals, timelines, and action items.

In-Person Services

Travel fees are discussed before your appointment.

In-person support may be available in homes, childcare settings, community environments, schools when permitted, and other agreed-upon locations.

Travel within 20 miles of The Advocacy Anchor's business base in Sumter, South Carolina is included.

Travel beyond the included radius: $0.75 per additional mile, round trip.

For appointments requiring more than 60 minutes of travel each way, travel time beyond the first 60 minutes each way may be billed at $40 per hour, prorated in 15-minute increments.

Necessary parking and tolls may be added at actual cost. Applicable travel charges are discussed before the appointment is confirmed.

Billing Policies

Clear expectations from the beginning

These policies help protect reserved professional time while keeping costs transparent for families.

Billing Increments

Unless otherwise stated, additional professional time is billed in 15-minute increments.

Rush Requests

Priority requests requiring completion within 24-48 hours may include a 25% rush fee.

Evening or Weekend Services

Pre-approved services outside standard business hours may include a 25% after-hours surcharge.

Late Cancellations

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged 50% of the scheduled service fee.

No-Shows

Missed appointments without notice may be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee.

Hold & Transfer Time

During scheduled advocacy calls, time spent waiting on hold, being transferred, or pursuing escalation is considered billable professional time.

Complex Matters

Extensive record sets, complex appeals, significant research, or unusually large projects may require a custom quote before work begins.

Advance Communication

Applicable travel charges and custom project fees are discussed before work begins whenever reasonably possible.
